Who Am I?
Who is this person that I should read her blog? Legitimated question.
I am a student from Berlin, Germany. I am in my early twenties and study Economics in my 2nd semester. For one of our courses, Business Information Systems, I am required to create an individual as well as a group blog choosing any topic I like. We are supposed to write weekly posts to keep the blog dynamic and interesting.

So what kind of topic should I take? Which topic would not be boring after publishing 5 posts? Well, these are the questions which led me to Genetic Engineering. I always thought it is a very fascinating topic – meaning it’s interesting and scary at once. Since I am far away from detailed scientific understanding of GE I stay with the aspects that I am able to talk about: GE’s ethical meaning.
I am young. Therefore, I don’t have the life experience of a grandma. There is definitely a lot that I need to learn in my upcoming years. And I will definitely make a lot of mistakes. Nevertheless, I think I got some interesting ideas about GE that are worth to be read about.
Each of us thinks differently about certain topics and especially about such an explosive one as GE but why not reading other opinions and commenting on them?
